Natalia Pankova's creative work is a glistening phenomenon in modern Russian art. Natalya likes placing birds on her canvas, as a bird in her view of the world is the symbol of freedom and soaring. It sounds like hearing her speak of herself. Her works radiate enormous portions of freedom, light and life. And her artistic development resembles a bird flight.
Natalia Pankova is a painter, who has been twice the honoree of Nizhny Novgorod Award and the New Intelligentsia Award of the Moscow News Publishers and the Culture Award winner of “Person of the Year 2013” held by Delovoy Kvartal Publishing House.
The artist’s works have been exhibited in many cities around the world: London, Luxembourg, Vienna, Rome, Barcelona, Malaga, Budapest, Helsinki, Tampere, Bratislava, Beijing, Algiers, Annaba, Constantine, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Sarov and Cheboksary.
Paintings by Natalia Pankova’s are held in collections of the Nizhny Novgorod State Museum of Fine Arts, the Mordovia State Museum of Fine Arts, the Chuvashia State Fine Arts Museum, the Algerian State Museum of Fine Arts, as well as private collections of Margaret Thatcher, Alain Juppe, Sergey Kirienko, Boris Nemtsov, Irina Khakamada, Alexander Avdeev, Alexander Livshits, Frederik Philips and the great musicians: Mstislav Rostropovich and Galina Vishnevskaya, Yury Bashmet, Vladimir Spivakov.
